Summary
Your privacy is important to us! You want to know that we also put our money where our mouth is, but you find a Privacy Statement rather boring and full of legal jargon.
That's why we provide you with this summary, which you can read in less than 2 minutes. This summary gives you the necessary information and clearly explains how we process your personal data.
What do you need to know?
First: You always remain the sole owner of your personal data!
BloomUp and Mindlab by BloomUp are processors of your personal data when you create a profile and use the platform. We ensure that your personal data and privacy remain protected. When using therapy, your psychologist/psychotherapist will act as the controller for the processing of your personal data when providing medical advice during the consultation. In this regard, BloomUp is a processor for your psychologist or psychotherapist.
What information do we collect about you?
- The moment you start using BloomUp or Mindlab by BloomUp (BloomUp Learn), we ask you to approve the Terms of Use and Privacy Policy.
- The (health) data you provide during matching is used by BloomUp to provide you with the best possible match.
- We do not process any data and (health) information you share with your designated psycholo(s)/psychotherapist(s) during the consultation.
- Not all data are required to be shared. We clearly indicate where they are and where they are not with the reason why.
- We also process more technical data about your use of our services and platform, such as page views and number of visits.
Why do we collect this information?
- We collect and process your data primarily to assist you and your psychologist or psychotherapist with your mental health concerns. We do this by facilitating an online consultation with a psychologist or psychotherapist and by creating a profile and account on BloomUp. Based on that information, you can start a video conversation in an accessible way.
- We also use that information to maintain and adjust our services as needed.
- Optionally, your (pseudonymized) data may be used for statistical and scientific purposes.
